It’s time for harvesting and cocoa pod breaking!
Harvesting operations have started 3 weeks ago in Cameroon, and reach now their cruising speed. That’s why our planters are very busy in the plantations to harvest and open the pods, in the context of our project in collaboration with Pallisco, ACEFA, and financed by AFD!
In order to ensure the quality of the cocoa beans, Eticwood trains the farmers from the harvest to the transport of the fresh beans to the fermentation and drying center.
This training allows the fermentation and drying center to pay a good price to the farmers for the quality of their products! This quality is maintained during all the process managed by Eticwood, following a standardized method.
Thanks to this, the upcoming gourmet projects for the year 2022 will be able to produce exceptional chocolate…
