ETICWOOD / SODEFOR : signing of a partnership agreement
Eticwood is proud to announce the signing of a partnership agreement with SODEFOR (Société de développement des forêts, part of the Côte d'Ivoire Ministry of Water and Forests) as part of the Classified Forest Conservation and Restoration Project (CFCR) supported by Eni Côte d'Ivoire.
This collaboration is part of an ambitious drive to preserve our forest heritage and promote sustainable development. It will focus on the following areas :
- Conservation and rehabilitation of 12 classified forests and 2 targeted agro-forests;
- Developing and promoting best practice in preventing deforestation, reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and implementing social measures to benefit local communities;
- Renforcement du potentiel de séquestration carbone de ces écosystèmes forestiers.
